Food played a big part this week. Which makes sense since I was self diagnosing food poisoning last week and lost 3 kgs! I bought a scanpan from Myer at Carindale for 30% off. I cooked myself a celebratory omelet to mark the occasion! During the week I treated myself to sushi for lunch which I hadn’t done in months. Then lastly at the end of the week after indulging at my favourite breakfast place “Mud” on Oxford St at Bulimba we strolled over to the Oxford St Bakery to purchase “The Bulimba Bomb” They are delicious, light meringue with a caramel and apricot base, then filled with creamy french custard. (it took 3 of us to eat it. Amazing!
PLAY was all about the kids over this long weekend. They’d endured a garage sale, so with the takings we all went out for breakfast, ordered hot chocolate, went to the park and enjoyed seeing them interact with each other. I met up with my friend Anita for breaky at the Glass House side of the newly refurbished Carindale westfeild. It looks incredible. I love the styling of the new cafes. Toscani’s was well worth the visit.
