Catching a cold in summer has forced me to slow down and recuperate. Nestled indoors with myself as company I soon found plenty to overstimulate my senses and remain inspired:
I grabbed a Belle Magazine from my ever growing collection of design magazines to pull this bad boy out! I’ve been meaning to re look at a few articles from some of my favourite designers and personalities. This one in particular has an article about Jonathan Adler’s Shelter Island home. Jonathan had designed many pieces for this particular house Including a rounded sculptural room screen.

During the week I was suprised by a visit from my inlaws who’d been minding my wedding cake from last year. Perfectly preserved in the marzipan icing, we busted that baby open and enjoyed it all week long! I’ve never been a fruit cake aficionado but I simply can’t help myself with this one! It really hit the spot.
Wednesday was a big day for my husbands Parents. Moving from their family home of 15+ years was met with high emotions and low energy. During the “de-cluttering phase” this snake skin clutch was set aside for me. Best acquisition in my vintage loving life! Check out the texture!
Check out these two cuties. I must admit I’m a little bias, as this little angle in my niece dining with Arvi. The two played all day… until they fought with frustration of each other. I Love them either way.
Here’s a sneak peak of a client that I’ve been helping out. Her life has revolved around the beach, her Australian music industry family, friends and her new family. There is SO much beautiful goodness in her home and I feel so lucky that she’s asked me to help organise this world of memorabilia, beachside collection and hint of gypsy. More to come!
Visiting Everingham and Watson was a highlight too. The start of the week was met with my voice sounding like I had a chronic smoking habit. But less talking and more looking was the point. I truly love these little tin australian decorations. I’ll be surely heading back to scoop more of them up!
Hope you’ve all had a great week and are looking forward to the weekend just like me.
See you next week for something to keep you inspired and escape that Mondayitis for just a little while
