How cute are these two troublemakers! Arvi and his cousin Ruby ran amok together over the weekend. Its hard to believe these little cuties could ever get into mischief but they are absolute partners in crime. They have some pretty special moments together though… Makes your heart melt.
Recently we bought Ella a bike. Its funny how the style of the bike has escalated into an outfit coordinating routine. But seriously… she was rocking the suburbs!
For THE best macaroons in town head to Belle Epoque in the Emporium Brisbane. If your feeling crappy about the normally sunny and hot Queensland weather turning drizzly, then head into this place for an escape to France (even if its only for 10 mins)
On the styling cards this week was a rebuild and refresh of the Christmas merchandise. I took a quick snap of this before a flock of people went into a mad Christmas buying frenzy!
A 5am start saw me jump on a plane headed to Sydney. Looking forward to visiting the Etsy store, interviewing a couple of designers and most of all the preview to The Design Files Open House in Surry Hills.
On of my favourite Designers was Charlotte Hawke. She has a beautiful range on show at her Pop-Up store in Double Bay. I’ll be featuring her label soon. But if you just can’t wait, head to her site for a look see! charlottehawke.com
The Design Files open house on Bennetts Road in Surry Hills, Sydney was truly amazing. I was thrilled to attend the preview and soak in the refined work of all designers, stylists, and appreciate the contributors support. My eyes were stinging after visiting for the sheer goodness that was on show. for more info head to TDF Open House or check out the instagram tags: #tdfopenhouse @thedesignfiles
James St, Fortitude Valley was bustling when we arrived with the James St Up Late kicking off with bubbly staff …. and bubbly! There was more of a sense of a shopping festival than simple the retailers extending their hours. Catching a couple of friends at Sixes and Sevens to wet our whistles so that we didn’t get dry mouths from chatting and browsing.
After our shopping prep and whistle wetting, it was time to stretch our legs and take in all the design goodness that James St has to offer. HAPPY BIRTHDAY to Beau In The Woods. I walked into this store, laden with cocktails and cupcakes and the new range Maimi B**ch on show. From here we moved onto new pop up stores, down to St Barts and and finished our retail therapy at Zimmerman.
Have a great summery weekend!
