Having a week off has put me on the back foot for the home and work front.
Destination Ikea on a monday morning. I always have enthusiasm and energy at the start and love planning out the project ahead, while shopping for clients and friends…. But by the time I reach this point I fall into a rectinal overload and no longer want to think anymore and just start looking for the quickest way out! Strong start, slow finish!
I had the chance to spend an afternoon with Kylie from Beau in the woods. A Brisbane based label located on James St Fortitude Valley. Featured in this post: beau in the woods
Visual Merchandising: So much goodness has arrived that it nearly doesn’t fit on the shelves! I’m obsessed with this flamingo lamp. Christmas was reconfigured. I’ve dubbed this bauble my favourite this season! Available at Pillow Talk
I can’t wait to reveal my decorations! Its not easy with a 2 year ld running wround the house driving his trucks on everything and licking whatever he can reach. So while my christmas decorations will be small, they WILL be loud!
Had a long overdue catch up with a friend at Cru Bar on James St, Brisbane for a good ol’ vent, laugh and people watch.
Totally in love with this Camilla Designer Rug. Featured at Camilla, James St
Pit stop at the Fabric Store to drool over some beautiful textiles… I’ll warn you now, this is as close as I like to get to velvet! I have a phobia of it :/ Then lost my mind over the sequinned panels. Amazing!
Friday was pretty special. I helped out a friend declutter and re organise her house as she’s about to re-enter work after a year on maternity leave. She spoiled me with baked goods. Loved discovering the items around the house that she’d forgotten even existed.
