When I was pregnant I carefully pieced together a room that would suite a boy or girl. I already new I was carrying a boy…. but you never know! I wanted to room to have a home made feel about it. Even though I work for a home wares and linen company I was determined not to have that “just new from the shops” feel to it.
|The white letters were a gift from Leila and Mick after Arvi was born. The letters are designed in a way that you can paint or cover them to suite the colour theme of the room but I prefered them as is, to help make the other colours “pop.”|
|I bought this cot 2nd hand for $50 at a pre-garage sale. It was white with teeth marks all over it. I sanded it back and painted it up in my colour theme (red, green, orange, light mustard yellow) The sheets I use for Arvi are THE best Baby cot sheets I’ve used. they are divine organic bed sheets by:
|My mother bought the blanket box, my nanna crocheted the afgan blanket. The green circle rug, white rug to contrast with the dark floor is from Ikea. The tree cushion and poofe’ is by rapee
|My Boss gave me this replica Eames Hang-It-All it was THE perfect addition for little hats and coats. The crocheted coat hangers were also made by my nanna in colour themed wool.
